HPC FlowLab-3D

This advanced CFD framework (link) on supercomputers integrates large-eddy simulation (LES), Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) modeling, immersed boundary methods, level-set techniques, and parallel computing and addresses complex environmental flow challenges.

Our advanced model has undergone extensive validation in theory, laboratory, and field applications, ensuring unmatched reliability. Recognized across dozens of leading journals and cited thousands of times, it stands as a benchmark of innovation and trust within the hydraulic engineering and fluid mechanics communities.

Our model’s innovations and applications have been published in top-tier journals and have collectively garnered thousands of citations worldwide.

HPC FlowLab-2D

Originally introduced in 2004, FlowLab-2D is a shallow water equation (SWE) solver for unstructured grids that has now been parallelized for high-performance computing, enabling much larger-scale applications.

Unlike conventional 2D tools such as HEC-RAS 2D, this solver delivers superior performance for complex, unsteady flows and scales seamlessly to billions of nodes, enabling city- and watershed-wide flood simulations with unmatched precision.

The model has been rigorously validated against theoretical, laboratory, and field data. Its original publication (link) has been cited over 200 times as of 2025, underscoring its scientific impact and reliability.

What We Do

High-Performance Computing

Our proprietary supercomputing clusters, accessible exclusively to our company, deliver simulation performance on par with leading research institutions — featuring two AMD EPYC clusters with 1,152 and 832 cores, along with two Intel Xeon system with 228 and 400 cores.

3D CFD Modeling

Advanced 3D flow modeling to support river management,  hydraulic structure design, stream restoration and regulatory compliance, powered by high-performance computing and cutting-edge simulation. 

2D Flood Modeling

Simulations of river inundation, urban flash flooding, and large river systems — capturing interactions across main channels, tributaries, and surrounding urban and rural landscapes.

Combined 2D-3D Modeling

Preliminary 2D simulations pinpoint critical areas for deeper analysis, guiding where detailed 3D models are applied. These 2D results also supply boundary conditions for high-resolution 3D LES/RANS simulations, enabling accurate insights even in ungauged regions.

Our CFD software is available on AWS Marketplace, optimized for Amazon EC2, and also deployable on Microsoft Azure, giving you flexible, cloud-based high-performance computing options.
